Beach Buffet

Beach Buffet is a game about eating sand.

It's pretty simple, mash the two buttons to eat the sand really fast. 

This game was made during "Design Week", a week long design challenge that paired participants with other students and tasked them to create a game with certain stipulations. 

This "Design Week", participants were tasked with making a game that could be completed in 30 seconds or less. These games were later uploaded onto an arcade cabinet that would randomly select 5 of these games, and let the public play them!

Definitely one of the most fun projects I worked on.

CONTROLS:

When launching the game, you can select between single or LOCAL multiplayer. Pressing V and B will turn on one player and pressing  . and /  will turn on the second player. 

Actual sand eating gameplay is straightforward: 

mash  V and B to eat sand for BLUE and mash  . and /  to eat sand for RED.
